Ministry Worker Retreat - (Women & Men)

After catching up with people who work in ministry for over 15 years, you start to hear the same thing. I. Am. Tired. 

Add in a pandemic and the word pivot a few too many times and your own life stress and you have the makings of a burnt-out ministry person. I don't want that. You don't want that. God doesn't want that. So let's do something about it. 

This retreat is aimed solely at people who work in paid ministry roles within churches or Christian organisations. There are some rules. 

1. You are not allowed to run anything. 

2. Simple BE here.

3. It stays here. When there are opportunities for vulnerability, you know that the person to your left and right will hold your words safely. Just as you hold theirs.

You're welcome to bring your team, but you're not to run anything with them while you're here. If you come, you're coming as you, the individual, not you the 'role'. The promise we make here is this: We don't care who you are. 

Now, I know that may sound rude, but to many senior leaders, that's heaven to their ears. We don't care who you are outside of this retreat. We don't operate in your context. We don't want anything from you. 

I know that many of you are worn out and burnt out. So come and rest the way Jesus intended.
